2004年からの付き合いになる外国人スタッフの重鎮、勤続も既に16年のゴッドマザー。
She’s the godmother of our international staff and a true veteran—we've known each other since 2004, and she’s been with us for 16 years. 
彼女のところに娘さん夫婦feat.kidsが来日したので、滞在最後の夜を御一緒しました。
Her daughter and son-in-law (feat. the kids!) came to Japan, so I joined them for their very last night here.
袖ケ浦公園散策から、どうやら海ほたるも行きたかった場所だったようで。
After a nice stroll around Sodegaura Park, it turned out Umihotaru was also on their bucket list.
日曜夕方大渋滞を潜り抜け……
We braved the crazy Sunday evening traffic...
日の入りは海ほたるで見届けることが出来ました。
...and managed to catch the beautiful sunset right at Umihotaru.
夕景を撮影してから一緒にディナーを。
We took some photos of the evening view and then had dinner together.

そうそう、前後して来日された、こちらの御一家とは会えずじまいだったんですよ。
Oh, by the way, there was another family who visited around the same time, but we just couldn't manage to cross paths.
